Haven't had a chance to try the original post's method windowx installing a working driver for the LinkSys WMP54G v4, but as for the intended link I navigated through their site and found this link to be the best guess at the driver location: Get the latest version now. There are still a relatively small amount of users for Vista I hate Vista by the way. Maybe it's a Windows Vista issue.
Will the 32 bit driver work in a 64 bit operating system? I was unable to find it myself. I seem to be having the same problem after installing RC1 this evening now morning?
It took a bit of figuring linksyys for this poor user, so I'll post slightly more detailed steps in case others are having trouble.

If you still have problems call Linksys support, they were very helpful! First off, if you're getting this for a Windows Vista pc then you will need to download Vista drivers from Linksys's website; the included drivers are for Windows XP. A warning poped up. Vista 64 claims it can't find a driver even if I browse directly to the directory where the driver is located. I have a wmp54g V4 and Windows7 x I believe that this is only relevant for the 4.
This is what needs to be done: When I had downloaded it they still had RT61 listed on ther, they must have just recently updated. You will want to choose the driver for RT Once you open the Systems icon, on the left hand side click on Device Manager. Like Windows Aero, it is the Desktop Window Manager, and has really the Reconstructionist opposite linksys wmp54gs driver download xp states as Windows.
